Return Policy for Surplus Building Materials, a AAA Distributor Company

You may return unused, in-stock, and unopened items within 30 days of delivery or pickup for a refund, minus applicable fees.

• Items Shipped to You: A $350 return shipping fee plus the initial shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
• Items Returned to the Store: Only a restocking fee will be deducted.

Products that are special order, out of stock, or that have been altered or modified in any way are NOT eligible for returns, replacements, or refunds.

Refunds are issued only after AAA Distributor receives the returned product in its original condition and original packaging.

Shipping Policy

We currently ship to the continental U.S. only. Shipping and delivery estimates will be provided at checkout based on product availability.

Freight & Pallet Deliveries

• All deliveries are curbside drop only to the nearest paved curb. No inside delivery.
• Orders with 6'0" X 8'0" wrought iron doors require 2–3 people to unload and will arrive disassembled on one pallet.
• The freight carrier (not AAA Distributor) will arrange a drop-off time once your order is in your area.

Damage Claims

• If you purchased Route shipping insurance, please file a claim within 7 days of receiving your products.
• If you did not purchase Route shipping insurance, you must:
  • Inspect all products at the time of delivery.
  • Notate any visible damage on the delivery ticket before signing.

We cannot accept claims for damages that were not notated on the delivery ticket at the time of receipt.

Store Pickup Policy

• Call Ahead: Call ahead before arriving for pickup.
• Preparation Time: Some products require up to one hour to pull due to disassembly requirements (e.g., wrought iron doors).
• Special Orders: Special order items may need to be picked up at a different location; details will be provided when your order is ready.

Hold Policy

• We will hold in-store purchased or pickup orders for up to 30 days.
• Items not picked up within 30 days may be subject to cancellation or storage fees.
• Online orders requiring shipping cannot be held.
