Silestone (quartz) is a go-to for low-maintenance kitchens and baths. Dekton is an ultracompact surface built for tougher use cases and can be used indoors/outdoors. We’ll recommend based on your space and goals.

Quartz options like Silestone are typically nonporous and don’t require sealing. Natural stones like granite may have different care needs; Sensa includes protective treatment for easier maintenance.

Yes—cutouts and edge work are standard parts of fabrication (project-dependent).

Most daily cleaning is mild soap + water. We’ll provide care guidance for the specific material you choose.

Payment Options

In addition to cash, we accept the following payment methods.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $35 fee on all returned checks.

In addition, we accept PayPal payments through our web site.

Financing is available in our store through Synchrony Financial and online through PayPal.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time -- Most items are shipped within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on Saturday or Sunday. Our standard shipping method is Ground. We are not responsible for delays due to weather, work schedule changes, and road blockages. For all returns, the purchaser is responsible for all relevant shipping costs. All shipments are insured. Please inspect shipment upon delivery and before signing the delivery ticket. Mark all damaged items on the BOL. Call us to report damage.

Returns

All items must be returned in as purchased condition within 30 days of purchase date. Only in stock items may be returned for either a 10% restocking fee OR store credit in the full amount. No returns on special orders or items that have been opened or installed.

Surplus Building Materials does not directly warranty the products. Please contact the product manufacturer directly.

To apply for financing with Synchrony Financial, we collect your First and Last name, address, phone number(s), social security, identification information from two forms of ID, and co-applicant's information if applicable. Applications are available at our locations only. Currently, we are not able to process financing applications online. Only managers are able to run applications for credit and share this information with Synchrony Financial seeking approval for financing.
