Surplus Building Materials Acquired by AAA Distributor

Surplus Building Materials is now a part of the AAA Distributor family of companies and a fifth add-on acquisition by Valesco Industries in less than one year.

AAA Distributor, LLC acquired Surplus Building Materials, LLC ("Surplus Building Materials" or "Surplus") on May 20, 2022 as an asset purchase.

Dallas, TX-based Surplus Building Materials (www.sbmtx.com) is a dealer of home remodeling products such as flooring, cabinets, doors, kitchen, bath fixtures, wall tile, lighting, hardware, and tools. Surplus serves retail and commercial customers in the DFW area. Surplus operates out of a showroom in addition to hosting an online sales platform.

AAA welcomes the Kitchen & Bath Solutions, Ugly Duck, and Surplus Building Materials teams to its family of companies.

The acquisition complements AAA's organic growth initiatives by providing expansion to new geographies and product categories, establishing a national network to sell existing AAA offerings through, and furthering the Company's digital sales capabilities. The acquisitions of Surplus along with USA Distributor (Philadelphia, PA), KBS (Atlanta, GA), and Ugly Duck (Spokane, WA) positions AAA Distributor as one of the nation's largest providers of residential kitchen, bath, flooring and remodeling products.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.

We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $35 fee on all returned checks.

In addition, we accept PayPal payments through our web site.

Financing is available in our store through Synchrony Financial and online through PayPal.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time -- Most items are shipped within 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on Saturday or Sunday. Our standard shipping method is Ground. We are not responsible for delays due to weather, work schedule changes, and road blockages. For all returns, the purchaser is responsible for all relevant shipping costs. All shipments are insured. Please inspect shipment upon delivery and before signing the delivery ticket. Mark all damaged items on the BOL. Call us to report damage.

Returns

All items must be returned in as purchased condition within 30 days of purchase date. Only in stock items may be returned for either a 10% restocking fee OR store credit in the full amount. No returns on special orders or items that have been opened or installed.

Surplus Building Materials does not directly warranty the products. Please contact the product manufacturer directly.

Synchrony Financial

To apply for financing with Synchrony Financial, we collect your First and Last name, address, phone number(s), social security, identification information from two forms of ID, and co-applicant's information if applicable. Applications are available at our locations only. Currently, we are not able to process financing applications online. Only managers are able to run applications for credit and share this information with Synchrony Financial seeking approval for financing.

Most of the information is collected directly from you while you are placing the order. Activity on the web site may be collected with tracking cookies.

Your information is never sold to 3rd parties for telemarketing.
